Many seniors are challenged by issues with chronic pain. In 2012, the Journal of the American Medical Association reviewed the effectiveness of acupuncture for chronic pain conditions including back and neck pain, osteoarthritis, and shoulder pain. The research team, which included MDs and PhDs, reviewed 29 randomized controlled trials, with a total of 17,922 patients analyzed. They concluded that acupuncture is an effective treatment for chronic pain.
In addition to pain, seniors are also likely to face issues with difficulty sleeping, poor digestion, asthma and breathing problems. Many Rivers’ highly-trained acupuncturists not only treat chronic pain but also insomnia, IBS, constipation, asthma, and allergies. Schedule your $10 treatment today!
